Conclusion

Finishing my general studies and graduating mission college with an AA degree well completing my Prerequisites for chiropractic; then completing Bowen therapy courses, and last step graduate chiropractic school at life west chiropractic school. The dead line date for the above plan will be in 2016. my focus is to graduate and grow in my passion for healing individuals in need. This five year plan will give me a decent amount of education to prep for my future career to success.
When the other working class individuals need healing from work related injuries, accidents, and health in-aliments I will be fully educated to meet their health needs with a fair economical rate of price. After they feel improvement they will notice that my price is more then reasonable. The research that i was shown in my career class states that chiropractic care is on the rise of being highly needed even through the recession we are currently faced with. With the knowledge I have gained from my career class I feel positive that I can apply the skills I have learned to everyday situations in the work place.

Interview Strategy

Researching the company before my interview and thinking up questions they might ask me would be my strategy. Updating my resume and asking my self common questions that would be asked during a interview. Then brain storming my past experiences so I can gather information to answer the questions in the STAR layout. Weaknesses one would be eating late, striving for perfection, and caring about others opinions or feelings before making a final decision. My highest strength is Color sorting, social skills, and can maintain a positive attitude. To be frank your company will most certainly grow when you make the decision to invite me on your staff. The positivism that I will bring to the business will increase the client-ail and also maintain it consistently. The hands on experience has grown my knowledge in healing clients so they can live happy and mobile lives. My outgoing personality will also bring a lot of color to the office and comfort. :)

Academic & Career Goals

The steps to achieve my academic goal is as follows; finishing my general studies, graduating mission college with an AA degree, complete my pre-requisites for chiropractic, complete Bowen therapy courses, and last step graduate chiropractic school. After my education at life west chiropractic; and soon after begin my internship under a chiropractor. After my internship is complete I will open my own clinic. I hope to have an internship with the same chiropractor I am working for now. As far as networking my plan is to begin advertising myself with my clients that I see regularly through massage then extend my client-ail through Bowen therapy.

Eureka Assignments -True color and Microsoft

The two I was labeled best at was the green and orange team. I scored fourteen on each team so it was a tie between these two characters. Green is basically adventurist slash outgoing person. Orange is a person who likes to be in control and recognized for their hard work they like the spot light. The two jobs I would most likely choose in the orange category would be a tour guide and a choreographer. I could see myself more in the green job field. The top two in the green category is chiropractor and anesthesiologists. There were several more careers I would also consider as a lifelong career.

The other color that suited me was gold I scored thirteen on it. The lowest scored color was blue I scored nine. The true colors questionnaire was very vague and strange to rate but the end results were very insightful and nice resource on finding a career that best fits my personality. It caught me off guard how useful the information was on this website. Now I feel I have more career options and more research to make on these careers I had no idea about.

I would definitely recommend a friend or classmate to take this personality exam. It will help other individuals a have great idea on which field their expertise are needed in the job world. It will also near down to the job that will fit them the best to pursue in. This will also help educate others by bring awareness to knowing about the jobs that are not well heard of. In the end this will help companies have more employees which are in much need right now.

The Micro skills assessment was based on behavaioral traits. To me the assessment was really confussing. At first it was neat to sort throw then it became confussing once you clicked next page it was the same but in a different format. I wasnt quit sure what the following page was asking me. This is where i became seriously lost. After sorting through the provided flash cards it then takes you to a following page that list a variety of careers. I chose a career then it pops up another page that list information about the career. It was fun at first then it became a chore after making the mistake of pressing the start over icon. OOPs! This assessment wasnt really fascinating or all that helpful to me.

All the occupation were not really for me or of my inetrest. One was sales engineer and the other was a travel agent. The list given did not fit my personality what so ever. I then read the occupation over views and once again I realized these were jobs that will never fit into my life style or career passion. For the sales engineer occupation it samed very mathematical a full of science which is not my strongest learned skill. It also seemed that you needed to know alot about business and sales which is also a weak trait of mine. The travel agent job choice seemed to be the opposite of my personality and skills that i obtain. To maintain this job you need high planning skills and stracture which i seriously lack I am very spontaneous so this career would not suit me very well.

dream job and co

Bowen therapy is my dream job. The Bowen Technique was developed in Australia in the 1950's by Tom Bowen, a gifted healer. Although he himself was untrained, he claimed his fingers could sense vibrations in the muscles, nerves and soft tissues. The tension in the muscles helped him find the right places to manipulate. There is no manipulation, adjustment or force used. The practitioner uses thumbs and fingers to gently move muscles and tissues. In between each set of moves, the practitioner leaves the room. These pauses and the gentleness of the treatment are what make Bowen unique. It offers rapid, long-lasting relief from pain and discomfort. Most conditions respond within 2-3 treatments. Bowen has an 88% success rate or more within the average client. To successed in this would be an ultimate dream of mine healing individuals.

The dream company I hope to embrace in my future would maintain passion driven employees, uplifting enviornment, and a repitable company. Our goal would be helping those in need of healing. I plan on having open clinics for families that don't have enough money for treatments or raffles to raise clientail. Working under a chiropractor has already inspiried me and given me experiences that I will be able to apply in my career. To gain all this I need to work hard and maintain a balance in my company to make sure we will perform great and highly successful.

Road Trip Nation

The most impressionable interviews were from the Liberty in north Korea by Hannah Song and the surprise interview from Craig Robins the comedian from his popular series the office.

Link was very interesting it started with low finds and then spiraled up in the market later. Hannah found her passion through link and stuck it out even through the most frustrating times. She had an incredible amount of weight on her shoulders from her ancestors and family. Hannah is the president of link. One of the big subject that kept on popping up during the interview was the big risks that she had to take in order to become so successful. In the beginning of her career she didn't make much off of Link so she worked at cheesecake factory also to make a steady income. After many stress full and frustrating times Link became highly successful so all her hard work paid off. At times she felt she wouldn't be able to pull it off but not once did she ever claim to hate her job. She is very passionate about what LINK represents and what a difference it makes it peoples lives.

This interview with Hannah Song was a real eye opener. During the interview she spoke about how so many have sacrifced for us to succeed in our generation. This got me thinking about how I have to be successful and there is no other option. If I want to be highly successful I have to hold my self accountable in my ever move today to get to where I want to be tomorrow for my family and deceased loved ones. Personally i know there was alot sewt aside for me to become successful. When My grandfather was alive he started a western family fund hooked to stocks. That was very smart of him. This Scholarship fund western family was set aside for my generations college experience. Now I am able to attend school with books, supplies, and classes paid for in full because my grandfather sacrificed for me. Now its my turn to repay him by succeding in everything I do in school and then my career. This I can take with me into my future as a reminder on how much was given to me through a loving and supportive family.

The interview with Craig Robinson was on a very personal level. Craig was very positive throgh out the whole interview. During the interview he was playing the piano and singing well giving advice to the interveiwees. The interview was located in LA at Improv. Craig Robinson went to school got a master degree in education then pursued his career full determined to become famous. He taught at elementrary schools teaching music. The way he explains things is through his life experiences then focuses on you helping find what the iterviewees passion and drive to become their dream career. He was so inspirational he was telling them to strive and go for what they truly want to do in life. He had a plan how to get where he wanted to be. He researched how he can become a comedian. He had to seek it out how to become a comedian. Craig started hitting up stand up mic nights so he could perform.

This interview was very up lifting. It shows you from a postive perspective that you can make it even when it becomes a long process you just have to keep at it and not give up no matter what. His examples were so real the way he talked about his thoughts it sounded like his aphonies in his life. He shared that when he was on a treadmill he noticed that he was comforming into societies ideas of how a person should look then he said yea I do want to be in the box meaning he wanted to exercise to feel good about himself. This helps me to remember to be true to myself and what I am truly passionate about.

Right now my goals are to focus in becoming an improved student and dependable worker in my field. This also applies to my future I also want to be consistant with time management and positivity in the work place.

You tube video on Bowen therapy and my career of interest

Chiropractic care or Bowen therapy would by my dream jobs.
The YouTube video above demonstrates Bowen therapy.
Chiropractors diagnose and treat spinal problems and other health disorders to help their patients recover and maintain good health. They treat the patient to prevent disabilities and correct abnormalities caused by problems that affect the nervous system. They manually adjust the spine and other parts of the body. They use treatment like water (hydrotherapy), light, heat, ultrasound, electricity and nutrition. They perform examinations and study laboratory tests and x-rays to help in their diagnoses.

Chiropractic services in Medicare and the emphasis on natural ways of maintaining health is increasing the demand for chiropractic services. Those entering private practice will face competition that is expected to increase because of the larger number of chiropractic graduates. Opportunities may be better in small towns and areas with few practitioners.
Pay depends on whether workers are new graduates, are working as associates in an established office, or are beginning private practice. Costs of establishing a practice are high, so income is usually low at first. Average pay is $6,891.
